Winsham St. Stephen

Nave, central tower and chancel with 15th-century rood screen. The painted typanum, rather restored, of the Crucifixion which once filled the chancel arch above the rood screen has been removed to hang in the tower. Good pulpit and tester of about 1700.

The nave retains its 15th-century roof. Nice local ironwork round the choir steps.

ST 373 063, on B3162 in the centre of the village.
