Stratton on the Fosse St Vigor

The church has been substantially rebuilt since the Reformation: the tower appears to be early 16th-century and much of the rest 18th, though thoroughly 'medievalised' in the 19th.

Only two medieval dedications to St Vigor are known in England. He was bishop of Bayeaux in Normandy in the 6th-century and known for his assault on idolatory.
