Stoke St. Gregory

Impressive 13th-century cruciform church with an octagonal central tower. The chancel seems rather pokey compared with the magnificently lit nave and aisles. There are unusal painted panels between the windows of the S transept.

The Jacobean pulpit is particularly fine.
