Hawkridge St. Giles

A simple three part church with W tower, nave and chancel, substantially restored in 1877 - note the carved roof bosses and Royal Arms of that date. The S door is a gem of Norman (12th-century) architecture with its zig-zag mouldings and acanthus caps.

SS 861 306, On minor roads 6km NW of Dulverton.
