East Pennard All Saints

Pretty location in centre of village on the S flank of Pennard Hill. A modest but spacious church mostly 15th century with the tower not opening into the nave and the chancel rather Victorianised. Original roofs in nave and aisles.

Painting of the censing angels which would have once flanked the great doom survive high on the E wall of the nave.

ST 596 375, on minor roads signposted W of A37 8 km S of Shepton Mallet.
