Cucklington St Lawrence

A charming church in a stunning position. It was much rebuilt after a storm in 1703 from which time the cupola on the tower was added. Victorian roofs and some further rebuilding.

17th/18th-century font. Geneological memorial to the Dalton family; some late medieval glass and Royal Arms of 1660.

ST 754 278, on minor roads signposted S of A303 on the side of the escarpment overlooking the Vale of Blackmore.
