Christon St Mary

A simple Norman three-cell church, nave, central tower and chancel but strangely embellished in the 1870s with large Neo-Norman windows. The space below the tower has a quadripartite vault.

The S door is a restored elaborate affair.

ST 378 573, on the hill side overlooking the Lox Yeo vale by the side of the minor road from Loxton to Banwell.
