Location: Carhampton CP: at about normal high tide mark on the beach - the coast has suffered post-war erosion along this stretch.
Type: probably a pillbox type 24, built of cast concrete, disguised with beach pebbles.
Condition: remains scattered over beach.
Function: provided beach line defence in the centre of Blue Anchor Bay west of the end of Kermoor Piling.
Group: line with D2 and D5.
