Location: Carhampton CP; built into landward side of the railway embankment; faces seawards.
Type: pillbox type 24, cast concrete, disguised with a false brick chimney as a railway platelayers hut.
Condition: good with iron shutters intact, accessible.
Function: part of a second line of defence behind the beach line in the centre of Blue Anchor Bay.
Group: with D3 and D5.
